Dr. Stefan Gelven brings a curious mind and a steady pair of hands to patients at Affordable Dentures and Implants in Catoosa. He graduated from dental school in 2020 and has been placing dental implants since 2021, building his expertise through advanced training that has taken him across the United States and abroad to Germany and Brazil for coursework in implant placement, bone grafting, and soft tissue grafting.
Dr. Gelven earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Oklahoma College of Dentistry. His commitment to international training reflects something patients pick up on quickly. He's interested in doing the work well, not just adequately. The grafting skills in particular matter for patients whose implant cases aren't straightforward, where the foundation has to be rebuilt before the implant can succeed.
