Dr. Ahmed Al Salman
DDS, Managing Dentist
Dr. Ahmed Al Salman, DDS, known to his patients as Dr. Sal, is a General Dentist at Affordable Dentures & Implants, Aurora, Colorado. He took an unconventional path to dentistry, beginning with a master's degree in molecular biology with a focus on cancer research from Southern Illinois University. As he explored different fields in medicine, he found that dentistry aligned perfectly with his passion for direct, hands-on patient care.
Dr. Sal returned to the University of Illinois Springfield to complete his dental school prerequisites before attending the University of Colorado School of Dental Medicine, where he earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. He went on to complete a year of residency training in Advanced Education in General Dentistry at NYU, where he discovered his enthusiasm for providing affordable dentures and implants and the chance to truly transform patients' lives.
Dr. Sal holds Diplomate status with the American Board of Oral Implantology/Implant Dentistry, a credential that reflects the highest level of competency in implant dentistry and his commitment to delivering the highest standard of care. He is also an Associate Fellow of the American Academy of Implant Dentistry and an active member of the American Dental Association. Outside of the office, Dr. Sal is the proud parent of three children and loves snowboarding with his sons in the mountains of Colorado.
