Dr. Ahmed Al Salman, DDS, is a General Dentist at Affordable Dentures & Implants, Aurora, Colorado. Known to his patients as Dr. Sal, he took an unconventional path to dentistry, beginning with a master's degree in molecular biology, focused on cancer research, from Southern Illinois University. As he explored different fields in medicine, he found that dentistry aligned perfectly with his passion for direct, hands-on patient care.

Dr. Sal returned to the University of Illinois Springfield to complete his dental school prerequisites before attending the University of Colorado School of Dental Medicine, where he earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 2022. He went on to complete a year of residency training in Advanced Education in General Dentistry at NYU Langone, graduating in 2023, where he discovered his enthusiasm for providing affordable dentures and implants and the chance to truly transform patients' lives. Since then, he has pursued extensive advanced training in implant dentistry, oral surgery, periodontics, and prosthodontics, including full-mouth reconstruction and full-arch implant restorations, giving him a well-rounded, highly skilled approach to complex cases.

Dr. Sal holds Diplomate status with the American Board of Oral Implantology/Implant Dentistry, a credential that reflects the highest level of competency in implant dentistry and his commitment to delivering the highest standard of care. He is also an Associate Fellow of the American Academy of Implant Dentistry and a Fellow of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists, along with active memberships in several other professional dental organizations.

Outside of the office, Dr. Sal is the proud parent of three boys and loves snowboarding with his sons in the mountains of Colorado.
