Dr. Joseph M. Jarman, DMD, MS, is a Prosthodontist and the owner of Affordable Dentures & Implants, West Valley City, UT. Born and raised in Salt Lake City, Utah, Dr. Jarman is passionate about helping patients restore their smiles, confidence, and quality of life through advanced restorative and implant dentistry. He earned his bachelor's degree from the University of Utah before graduating with honors from Oregon Health & Science University School of Dentistry, where he received his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree. He then completed a three-year residency in Prosthodontics at Columbia University, receiving advanced training in cosmetic dentistry, implant dentistry, crowns, bridges, and full mouth reconstruction.
Following his specialty training, Dr. Jarman served in the United States Navy for eight years, providing specialized prosthodontic care to service members and their families. His military career included assignments at Camp Pendleton Marine Corps Base in Southern California and Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam in Hawaii. After completing his military service, he practiced in Denver, Colorado, focusing on full mouth implant rehabilitation before returning home to Utah in 2023. Today, he brings more than a decade of advanced education, training, and clinical experience to patients with complex restorative and implant needs.
Outside the clinic, Dr. Jarman enjoys spending time with his wife, MaryJane, and their two children. Whether hiking, fishing, camping, skiing, or snowshoeing, they love taking advantage of Utah's beautiful outdoor recreation opportunities throughout the year.
