Dr. Troy Simmons, DDS, FICOI, FAAIP, is the Owner and General Dentist at Affordable Dentures & Implants, Nacogdoches, TX. Across a career spanning nearly five decades, he has built his practice around a simple conviction: that careful, compassionate dentistry changes what a person is able to do every day. His focus is on implant and denture treatment that gives patients back comfort, function, and confidence.
Dr. Simmons earned a Bachelor of Science from the University of Toledo in 1973 and went on to graduate from the Ohio State University School of Dentistry in 1976. He has continued to build on that foundation throughout his career with hands-on implant education, including training through the Live Implant Training Institute, keeping his surgical and restorative skills sharp and current.
He is a Fellow of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists and a Fellow of the American Academy of Implant Prosthodontics, designations that reflect a sustained investment in advanced implant education and in the standards that guide implant prosthodontics.
After many years in private general practice, Dr. Simmons joined Affordable Dentures & Implants in 2016, drawn by the opportunity to make quality care reachable for more families in and around Nacogdoches. He is deeply rooted in the community he serves, having given forty years to his local school board. He and his wife have been married for thirty-six years and are the parents of five children, four boys and one girl. Away from the practice, he spends his time ranching and hunting.
