I will receive my final dentures today, and I deliberately waited until this very moment to write this so I could speak honestly about the entire journey from start to finish. This is coming straight from the heart of someone whose life has changed and this is my review.

For decades, I lived with extreme dental trauma. I had two horrific experiences with dentists—one as a young child and another in my 20s—that put me through so much agony they swore me off dental care entirely. Over the years, fear kept me away, and my teeth deteriorated to the point where I was dealing with severe infections and needing antibiotics every six months.

When I finally worked up the courage to seek help, I shopped around. I went to commercial chains like Aspen Dental as well as several private practices. They treated me like a mark at a used car lot, aggressively pushing financing, telling me "it’s an investment in your future," and actually advising me to tap into my 401(k) or take out massive loans. The quotes I received ranged anywhere from $17,000 up to $40,000.

The moment I walked through the doors of Affordable Dentures & Implants in Smyrna, everything changed. There was zero pressure, zero sales tactics, and most importantly: zero judgment. Kim (Receptionist): Kim is my lady! Sweet as can be, patient, and an absolute angel. She fielded my countless nervous phone calls leading up to surgery day and whenever I needed to schedule an adjustment, she was right on top of it. Michael: Michael sat down with me, broke down the transparent pricing without any games, and helped me figure out how to make it financially work. His pricing came out to nearly half of what other practices quoted. He's always walking around with a genuine smile and welcoming energy. Dr. Shealer: The surgeon who made what I thought would be a nightmare completely painless. He sat with me initially, listened without an ounce of judgment, and explained the entire surgical process. During the procedure, I only woke up once, felt practically nothing, and he took incredible care of me. While the support staff handles the follow-ups, his surgical precision set me up for a smooth, fast healing process. Dr. B: Handled most of my alignment work and was always there whenever I had a concern (or what I thought was an issue) post-op. Incredibly attentive, skilled, and always ready with a good laugh to put you at ease. Fakadu and Karina (Dental Assistants): The superstars handling soft liners and adjustments. They make you feel like family, genuinely listen to where a spot rubs or pinches, and do everything in their power to ensure your bite and comfort are 100% perfect. Looking back, my only regret is that I let fear rob me of doing this years sooner. Foods I couldn't eat, embarrassed to take pictures, and the constant pain!! Iam very satisfid with this place.My tooth was very difficult to remove, and another dentist was unable to remove it completely and could not get the roots out. I came here in a lot of pain, and Dr.selvia sargious skillfully removed the roots and saved me from terrible pain. Iam extremely grateful for her skill and care. I highly recommend this place!

Everyone was very friendly, their facility is nice and clean, very clear about explaining what they can do for you, and their prices, I really appreciated them.

The female that adjusted my temps was nice and done good at adjusting them, now that i have had time for the majority of my pain to go away so that i can better tell how they need to be readjusted, the temps go to far back on both top and bottom, doesn’t allow me to get a good bit . with my jaw ridge in the back , when i bit down, the backs hit first causing the front to pull down making the unable to chew side food . i’m having to pull them out to eat . I’m am well pleased with the staff , they are professional and nice.

Couldn’t be happier with results. 22 pulled with very minimal pain and only four days post op. Got my smile back!!!
