Dr. Maria Macaraeg is a compassionate and highly experienced General Dentist with more than three decades of providing exceptional dental care. She is committed to creating comfortable, patient-focused experiences while delivering high-quality comprehensive dentistry designed to improve oral health, confidence, and overall well-being.
Dr. Macaraeg received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Tennessee and continues to stay committed to excellence in modern dentistry through years of hands-on clinical experience and leadership.
She brings extensive expertise in restorative dentistry, oral surgery, treatment planning, anterior endodontics, and preventive care. She is skilled in performing a wide range of procedures, including fillings, crowns, bridges, root canals, and extractions, while emphasizing personalized treatment plans tailored to each patient’s unique needs.
Throughout her career, Dr. Macaraeg has earned a reputation for her gentle approach, strong clinical knowledge, and dedication to patient education. She believes that helping patients understand their oral health is essential to achieving long-term dental wellness and beautiful, healthy smiles.
Dr. Scott Ross
DDS, General Dentist
Dr. Scott Ross, DDS, is a General Dentist at Affordable Dentures & Implants, Arlington, TN. With 50 years in dentistry, he gives patients a direct, honest read on what they need and keeps the focus on comfortable, lasting results. He values the freedom to concentrate on care, and patients feel that in the time he takes with them.
Dr. Ross graduated from the University of Tennessee in Memphis in 1976 and has spent the five decades since working across all phases of dentistry, including two years of service in the United States Navy. He is known for cosmetic crown and bridge restorative work and for full mouth surgery to remove infected teeth and rebuild a healthy, natural looking smile with dentures.
Dr. Ross is a member of the American Dental Association, the Tennessee Dental Association, and the Memphis Dental Legion. He joined Affordable Dentures & Implants in 2024, drawn by a support team that lets clinicians do their best work, and he describes his own clinical team as genuinely collaborative. Outside the practice, he plays piano and follows the performing arts, and he credits his mother, a nurse, with inspiring his path into healthcare.

Dr. Shuya Bi
DDS
Dr. Shuya Bi, DDS, is a General Dentist at Affordable Dentures & Implants, Arlington, TN. She describes herself as a gentle person, and her goal at every visit is a calm, virtually pain free experience. Her clinical scope covers single implant placement, implant bridges and overdentures, and root canal treatment, with oral conscious sedation available for patients who want added comfort.
Dr. Bi earned her DDS from the University of Maryland School of Dentistry in 2019 and went on to complete an Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency at NYU Langone in 2020. She has continued to build on that training through ongoing continuing education, including implant coursework, and is currently expanding her surgical skill set with advanced training in All-on-X full arch implant rehabilitation.
Over the past year alone, Dr. Bi has placed more than 100 implants, handling both the surgical placement and the final restoration, along with implant overdentures. Seven years into her career, she keeps up with continuing education so her patients benefit from current techniques and materials.
Dr. Bi joined the Arlington team in 2024, drawn by the chance to practice somewhere that places implants and by a fellow dentist she trusted. Her own path to dentistry began with the story of Dr. Yu, a dentist who cared for patients into her nineties and saw the work as a way to serve people, and that sense of service still shapes how Dr. Bi practices. Outside the office she is active in her church community with her husband, volunteers locally, and enjoys time with her cats.
