Before Affordable Dentures and Implants I started my journey to getting dentures with my usual dentist. That journey turned out to be one of the worst decisions of my life. After the twelve weeks it took for me to get my final dentures, I ended up going back 8 times to get them realigned. They did not fit well and they just felt off. I was told that I just needed to get used to them. I was stuck at home for the better part of 18 months. I wasn’t willing to go out without teeth and wearing my dentures was not only painful while I had them in but for days after. I had blisters and welts on my gums after wearing them for only a short time… every time! I wanted to go somewhere else but my insurance was not going to cover another set of dentures that for 5 years. I went to Affordable because I thought that they were a budget place that could get me dentures that would get me by until my insurance would cover more. I am on a budget but my son gave me the money to go in and see if affordable could do a better job of realigning them. When I learned from the knowledgeable dentist’s at Affordable that my dentures were made incorrectly and could not be fixed, I was devastated. So much so, that I could not hold back the tears. I was embarrassed but I couldn’t control it. Dr. Hammod tried to soothe me. He assured me that Affordable Dentures and Implants was there to help me. He brought in Jesse who was an engineer in the dental lab. He sent Barb Bruno in to discuss how I could file a grievance with my insurance company. The three of them worked together with Melinda at the front desk and came up with a solution for me. I cannot believe how far this group of caring individuals went to help me. It was so far above and beyond anything that the dentist I have been seeing for 10 years has ever done. Affordable Dentures and Implants and their staff is not budget dentistry. It is quality dental care at a budget price. I am so humbled and overwhelmed by these incredible people.

It was my decision to have 27 teeth extracted at 89 years old. Seven caps had fallen off and only shards of teeth were still intact to have removed. So on May 8, 2026 I had the procedure done and as you can see my bruising is only minimal. I do have some pain but ice packs and Tylenol is working well. My post op appt went great and do not need to go back again until June 12th.
