Dr. Nicholas Richards
DDS, General Dentist
Dr. Richards earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from University of Tennessee Health Science Center.
Dr. Shane Tewis
DDS, General Dentist
Dr. Shane Tewis is a general dentist with 25 years of experience and a deep passion for implant dentistry. He earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery from Loma Linda University School of Dentistry in 2001 and has spent the years since building one of the most advanced implant-focused practices around. For Dr. Tewis, it is personal. He genuinely wants to help as many patients as possible feel confident again, whether that means speaking, eating, or just smiling without a second thought.
When it comes to implants, Dr. Tewis has put in the work. He is a Fellow in the International Congress of Oral Implantology and has logged over 670 hours of implant and prosthetic-focused continuing education. He is currently working toward designations from both the American Academy of Implant Dentistry and the American Board of Oral Implantology. He is also a member of the ADA, ODA, TCDS, the American Academy of General Dentistry, and two dental study clubs: the Green Country Dental Study Club (Spear) and the Catalina Dental Study Club. He has also served as a Key Opinion Leader for Desktop Health, Align Technology, and 3DISC.
Dr. Tewis has earned both the Platinum Practice Award and the CARE Award from Affordable Dentures and Implants, two honors that speak to his commitment to clinical excellence and patient-centered care. He is also passionate about giving back to the profession, actively mentoring doctors in the network and helping them build the careers they have always wanted.
Dr. Tewis is a fourth-generation Tulsan with deep roots in the community. His stepfather, Dr. Carlile, practiced dentistry in Broken Arrow for 42 years, so dentistry really does run in the family. At home, he and his wife Tami are celebrating 26 years of marriage this year, and their daughter Kamryn just finished her first year at Loyola Marymount University. Outside the office, he is an avid guitar player, a self-described foodie, and someone who appreciates a good red wine. He also attends BattleCreek Midtown Church and is proud to call Tulsa home.
