Dr. Jocelyn Vivas
DDS, MSc, PhD
Dr. Jocelyn Vivas earned her DDS Cum-Laude degree from the University of Los Andes in Venezuela, where she was bestowed the Clinical Excellence Award in recognition of her outstanding clinical performance and dedication to patient care. She holds two Master of Science degrees: the first in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery from Pontificia Universidad Javeriana in Colombia, and the second in Oral Medicine from the University of Washington School of Dentistry. Further advancing her academic and clinical expertise, Dr. Vivas earned a PhD in Health Sciences from the International University of Catalunya, Spain. With more than 10 years of experience in the dental implant field, Dr. Vivas has developed advanced expertise in high-end implant techniques and complex surgical procedures. She completed two prestigious fellowships in Oral Surgery and Dental Implants at the Freiburg University, Germany and in the Teknon Institute, Barcelona, Spain. Her international education and continued advanced training reflect her commitment to excellence and innovation in patient care. Dr. Vivas is currently a Clinical Instructor at the Northwest Center for Oral and Facial Surgery at the University of Washington. In this role, she contributes to the education and mentorship of future oral surgeon specialists while staying at the forefront of the latest advancements in the field. Dr. Vivas combines surgical precision, evidence-based practice, and management of medically complex patients with a compassionate approach to ensure each patient receives individualized, predictable, and long-lasting results. Her dedication to clinical excellence and patient-centered care allows her to deliver the highest standard of treatments.
