Dr. Wendel Teixeira
DDS, MSc, PhD, General Dentist
Dr. Wendel Teixeira, DDS, is a prosthodontist and implant dentist at Affordable Dentures & Implants, North Dallas. With more than two decades of advanced training in implant dentistry, prosthodontics, and oral rehabilitation, Dr. Teixeira has devoted his career to restoring smiles and helping patients feel confident in the way they look, eat, and live. His patient-centered approach, gentle demeanor, and commitment to evidence-based care make him a trusted partner for patients navigating tooth loss or complex dental needs.
Dr. Teixeira earned his first Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from the School of Dentistry of Ribão Preto at the University of São Paulo in Brazil, followed by a specialty program in Implant Dentistry, a Master of Science (MSc), and a PhD in Oral Rehabilitation/Prosthodontics. He recently completed his U.S. DDS degree at the University of Michigan School of Dentistry, bringing an extraordinary depth of academic and clinical preparation to every patient he sees.
Beyond his clinical work, Dr. Teixeira has dedicated much of his career to advancing the field through teaching and research. He served as a Clinical Instructor at the University of Michigan School of Dentistry, has contributed to numerous scientific publications in implant dentistry and oral rehabilitation, and serves as a reviewer for The International Journal of Oral and Maxillofacial Implants. That research-backed perspective directly informs how he treats patients, offering care that reflects the very latest in dental science.
Originally from Brazil, Dr. Teixeira brings warmth and a cross-cultural perspective to his practice. Outside the office, he enjoys spending quality time with his family and stays current with modern techniques and digital dentistry through continuous education.
