Dr. John Bell
DDS, General Dentist
Dr. John Bell, DDS, is a general dentist at Affordable Dentures & Implants, Lewisville, and a fourth-generation dentist who grew up watching his father serve a small Oklahoma community where the patient was never just a neighbor but a friend. That philosophy has never left him. He approaches each patient as a new friend and a new smile to make, knowing that no two people or dental challenges are ever quite the same. His artisan background in jewelry making, including casting gold, silversmithing, setting gemstones, and crafting original hammered copper sculptures, gave him an exceptional level of hand precision that carries directly into his dental work.
Dr. Bell earned a double Bachelor of Science in Zoology and Chemistry from the University of Oklahoma in Norman before completing his Doctor of Dental Surgery at the University of Oklahoma College of Dentistry in Oklahoma City. The program placed a strong emphasis on practical, hands-on clinical skills, giving him a solid foundation for taking on complex cases with confidence. Completing the journey to Texas that his great-grandfather began in a covered wagon from Tennessee, Dr. Bell brought that same grit and dedication to every patient he has served since.
Over the course of his career, Dr. Bell has treated thousands of patients to restore damaged or missing teeth. He far exceeds state continuing education requirements each year, dedicating extensive time to advancing his knowledge in tooth restorations, extractions, implants, full and partial dentures, medications, infection control, and smile aesthetics. He values the collaborative nature of dentistry, regularly consulting with colleagues to share experiences and deliver the best possible care.
Outside the practice, Dr. Bell enjoys life in a small Texas city with his wife Sherry and their two sons. The family makes regular trips back to Oklahoma for OU football home games in Norman and their favorite Oklahoma City restaurants. He has a particular fondness for Creole and Cajun cuisine, and on very special occasions, a great Texas steak.
