Dr. Nicole VanDoren
DMD, General Dentist
Dr. Nicole VanDoren is a dedicated general dentist who is passionate about helping patients achieve healthy, confident smiles. She earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from Southern Illinois University School of Dental Medicine and has been providing comprehensive dental care for about 5 years. She is well experienced in making hundreds of dentures and placing hundreds of implants. Dr. VanDoren believes that great dentistry starts with listening. She takes the time to understand each patient’s concerns and goals, and she focuses on creating a comfortable, stress-free experience—especially for patients who feel anxious about visiting the dentist. Her main priority is helping patients restore their mouths back to healthy while building their confidence with a brand new smile. Committed to staying current with the latest advancements in dentistry, Dr. VanDoren regularly participates in continuing education courses in implant dentistry. Outside the office, Dr. VanDoren enjoys hiking, playing the piano, eating Texas BBQ, and spending time with her family. She looks forward to welcoming you to the practice.
Dr. Rama Al-Rashdan
BDS, MS, FACP
Dr. Rama Al-Rashdan was born in Iowa City and raised primarily in Amman, Jordan. She earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the Jordan University of Science and Technology, followed by a Master’s degree in Prosthodontics from the University of Michigan. Her advanced training focuses on the replacement of missing teeth using dental implants and fixed prosthetic solutions. Dr. Al-Rashdan has extensive experience in full-arch rehabilitation, including All-on-X treatment concepts, and is highly skilled in guiding patients through complex smile transformations with comfort and precision. Following her graduate training, she achieved Diplomate status with the American College of Prosthodontists. She has practiced alongside her father, an American Board-Certified Prosthodontist, in Jordan and later served as a full-time Clinical Instructor at the University of Michigan before joining Affordable dentures and Implants. In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Al-Rashdan has collaborated with leading prosthodontists in research and has authored multiple peer-reviewed publications in The Journal of Prosthodontics and The Journal of Prosthetic Dentistry.
