He has been placing dental implants for over 20 years, and for the past decade has concentrated on using implants to support both removable and fixed replacement teeth, in addition to replacing individual missing teeth. Whether a patient needs traditional dentures, implant supported overdentures, or All in One fixed teeth, Dr. Kim takes the time to understand what will work best for their life.
Dr. Kim earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from Columbia University College of Dental Medicine in 2001, following a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry. He completed a one year General Practice Residency at Yale-New Haven Hospital, building a strong foundation in comprehensive patient care before going on to complete extensive additional training in implant dentistry throughout his career.
Dr. Kim maintains active professional affiliations that reflect his ongoing commitment to advanced training and best practices in implant and denture dentistry, and he continues to pursue continuing education to stay current with the latest techniques and technology in the field.
Outside the practice, Dr. Kim enjoys a good meal out with his family and relaxing walks with his dog, simple moments he finds grounding, much like the work he does every day for his patients. Nearly thirty years ago, a Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry set him on this path, and after 25 years as a dentist, he remains glad he chose it. The work has its challenges, but he finds it deeply rewarding to know he is making a real difference in his patients' lives.
