Dr. Karan Shah, DDS, is a General Dentist at Affordable Dentures & Implants, East Houston, Texas. He is dedicated to restoring confidence through healthy, beautiful smiles, and believes every patient deserves to feel comfortable, heard, and cared for from the moment they walk through the door. Whether helping someone replace missing teeth, transform their smile, or overcome dental anxiety, Dr. Shah approaches every treatment with compassion and precision, treating each patient like an extension of his own family.
Dr. Shah earned his Bachelor of Science from The University of Texas at Austin before completing his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at Texas A&M School of Dentistry. He has continued to build on that foundation through extensive implant training, including advanced coursework in implant dentistry and full-mouth rehabilitation, and he maintains oral sedation certification to help anxious patients feel more relaxed and comfortable during treatment.
While Dr. Shah enjoys all aspects of general dentistry, he has a special interest in dental implants, dentures, and full-mouth rehabilitation. He finds great fulfillment in helping patients regain the ability to eat comfortably, smile confidently, and improve their overall quality of life, combining modern techniques with individualized treatment planning to create results that are both functional and natural-looking.
Outside the office, Dr. Shah stays active through strength training and basketball, and he's a passionate Houston sports fan who loves cheering on his hometown teams. His genuine care for others and dedication to lifelong learning continue to shape the exceptional experience he strives to provide every patient.
