Dr. Shelby Jones
DDS
Dr. Shelby Jones, DDS, is a general dentist with nearly three decades of experience and a career that has taken him from Air Force bases across the country to the heart of Oklahoma, where he now serves patients at Affordable Dentures and Implants in Checotah. Dr. Jones earned his accelerated Bachelor of Arts in Chemistry and Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of the Pacific, Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry in 1997, completing one of the most rigorous combined programs in dental education.
Dr. Jones brings a calm, skilled approach to every patient interaction, shaped by years of high-stakes clinical work in demanding environments. He believes that great dental care starts with listening and that every patient deserves a personalized plan built around their unique goals and comfort level. Whether you are exploring dentures, implants, or simply looking for a dentist you can trust, Dr. Jones meets you where you are.
Following graduation, Dr. Jones completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry Residency with the United States Air Force, serving at Sheppard Air Force Base in Wichita Falls, Texas and later at McConnell Air Force Base in Wichita, Kansas. By 1999, he had risen to serve as Chief of Oral Surgery for the remainder of his military tour, a role that sharpened his surgical skills and his commitment to high-quality, efficient care. After separating from the Air Force in 2001, Dr. Jones established a private practice in Enid, Oklahoma before joining Affordable Dentures and Implants, where he has been dedicated to serving patients ever since.
Outside the office, Dr. Jones is a passionate professional BBQ competitor who takes his craft as seriously at the smoker as he does in the operatory. He loves spending time with his wife Shana and their three children at the lake, catching the latest movies, and exploring new destinations through travel. His warm, grounded personality is just as present in the chair as it is everywhere else in his life.

Dr. Zachary Nortch, DDS, is a general dentist whose career has been defined by both clinical excellence and an unwavering commitment to the dental profession. He earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from The University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio School of Dentistry, one of the most respected dental programs in Texas, and has spent his career building a practice rooted in trust, quality care, and genuine patient partnership.
Dr. Nortch approaches dentistry with a belief that every patient deserves clear communication, personalized attention, and a dentist who truly listens. He takes the time to understand each patient's concerns and goals, crafting treatment plans that prioritize both comfort and long-term oral health.
