Dr. Ali Nili was born and raised in London, England, and moved to Florida during high school. He won a National Merit Scholarship, and attended New York University on a full tuition scholarship, where he earned his Bachelor's degree. He followed this with a Master's degree, shared between the NYU Graduate Biological Sciences Department and the NYU College of Dentistry. During this time, he conducted research on dental regeneration and bone biology. He then returned to Florida to attend NSU College of Dental Medicine as a Chancellor's Scholar. In dental school, he served as President of the Missions Club, helping to organize charitable missions to provide urgent dental care in the Dominican Republic and Jamaica, as President of the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Club, and as Class President.
In dental school, Dr. Nili found his passion for oral surgery. Outside of the standard dental school requirements, he decided to complete several oral surgery externships in busy hospital programs across the country, having the privilege to assist surgeons in the operating room performing trauma, cancer, and implant cases. He also won his class's graduating prize in oral surgery in recognition of his passion for anesthesia, and providing pain-free surgical care to his patients.
After dental school, Dr. Nili worked exclusively in surgery-heavy dental offices, honing his skills in tooth replacement and implants. He is trained and licensed in IV sedation, providing his patients a far safer and more comprehensive form of sedation than the type of oral sedation offered in other general dental offices. Dr. Nili has placed over 1,000 implants, and his clinical interests include oral surgery, implantology, and dental reconstruction. He is dedicated to providing affordable and pain-free care using the most up-to-date techniques in these fields. His interests include exercise, trying new cuisines, and spending time with his wife and daughter.
