I had a great experience at Affordable Dentures & Implants. I had 2 consecutive teeth that needed implants and an existing implant that needed a new crown. Dr. Starr did an amazing job! Very pleased with the dental work! Everyone is friendly and professional. Couldn't have asked for a better experience.

Affordable dentures and implants in kannapolis is a wonderful place. Everyone is friendly and helpful and knowledgeable. I would recommend it to family and friends.

Dr Starr was a magician at pulling my teeth. Granted it's a lot but they explained how to keep the pain tolerable. Each day is a 50% improvement from the 1st.

They scheduled my appointment on Friday for me to come in Tuesday for adjustments. Very nice

They are absolutely the best. I've been to many and think they are going to be my go to dentist. They also seem to work really well together. I would ad photo but we're not done yet. I go back next month. I will post photos and let you guys know how it goes.

Update: I went yesterday to have my impressions made for my teeth extractions and temporary dentures. I was nervous due to horror stories I had heard about gagging and inability to handle all the materials in your mouth. While I know everyone is different, I was so surprised of the outcome. They even sprayed the back of my throat in case I had problems. It was SO easy! They truly desire their patients comfort and use best practices to achieve it! The lady doing the impressions hummed the entire time and consistently asked if I was okay...so comforting and cheerful. Dr. Lawrence even came in to take a few notes for the lab in constructing my dentures. I go back on the 20th for teeth extractions and temporary dentures. I can't say, I am looking forward to it..lol..but I am confident the staff will comfort me in every way they can. EVERY employee at this facility has been EXCEPTIONAL! EVERYONE is kind, yet professional. It is obvious they have their jobs, responsibilities and all that entails down to a science. They are good at what they do! And you are greeted with a smile!

Update: I had my extractions and temporary dentures put in yesterday. While I was somewhere nervous, everyone was very calming. Dr. Star gave me the shots and was very gentle. I opted not to take the pill. I have to say I was pleasantly surprised at feeling no pain, a little discomfort, yes, but not pain! Both of the other ladies/ employees ( wish I could recall their names) continued to check on me while waiting for the numbness to be at it's peak. I was asked to stop anything if I felt any pain..a comfort beforehand. I know everyone has a different pain tolerance, but I honestly have to say, I was surprised to hear Dr. Star say my extractions were completed and in no time my temporary dentures were in place. It has been approximately 24 hours now. The bleeding was to be expected but has now stopped. I continued to ice each side of my face and take antibiotics and pain meds as instructed. Sleeping last night was difficult but this was due to having to sleep at 45 degree angle (not use to it) However, I am not complaining. I have napped in the recliner today..lol. I feel blessed to be where I am in this denture journey with minimal discomfort thus far! The dentures of course feel foreign because they are! But I also have to say for temps they are esthetically pleasing. I go in 2 weeks for adjustment but was also told to please call if I needed them before then. I will update at that point. I am thankful for the employees and their care and kindness at Affordable Dentures in Kannapolis!

UPDATE: I went in yesterday and received a soft reline on my top temporary dentures. My bite was off so they corrected that as much as possible. In two weeks I go back for top impressions and remake of temporary top dentures to assure a good alignment and bite. Dr Starr and the staff at Affordable Dentures in Kannapolis have been a blessing! I have received exceptional and professional care, kindness and support with each visit. They care about their work and patients! I am so thankful I chose Affordable Dentures in Kannapolis for my denture journey!

UPDATE: I am at the 3 month mark on my denture journey. I went in yesterday for a soft reline. Mary An took care of me and a shout out to Candace for the last one! While I had no need (issues to address) with Dr. Starr, she popped in to say "hi" allowing the opportunity. It is amazing at the difference from day one until now. I continue to receive kind and professional care from Affordable Dentures in Kannapolis. I would recommend this place to anyone! Dr. Starr and her staff will take great care of you!
