Dr. David Altman, D.M.D., is a dentist at Affordable Dentures and Implants with a background that blends surgical precision, academic ambition, and a genuine passion for patient care. Raised in South Florida, Dr. Altman completed an accelerated combined Bachelor of Science and Doctor of Dental Medicine program at Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, earning his dental degree in 2010. Driven to sharpen his surgical skills, he was accepted into the prestigious Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Fellowship at the University of Missouri, Kansas City, graduating in 2012. He fell in love with the Midwest, settled in Springfield, and has been serving patients there for the past fourteen years.

Dr. Altman approaches dentistry as a lifelong learner, a philosophy he has put into practice again and again. Beyond his biology and dental degrees, he earned a Political Science degree from Missouri State University in 2016 and a Master of Business Administration from UMKC in 2021. That commitment to growth means patients benefit from a provider who is always evolving, always curious, and always looking for better ways to deliver care.

Professionally, Dr. Altman is an active member of the American Dental Association, the Missouri Dental Association, and the Greater Springfield Dental Society. His deep community involvement reflects his belief that great dentistry extends beyond the chair and into the relationships built with patients and colleagues alike.

Outside the office, Dr. Altman treasures time with his wife, Suzanne, a dental assistant who shares his passion for the field, and their daughter. When he is not caring for patients, you will likely find him at the gym, cheering on his favorite sports teams, or planning the family's next adventure.
