I havent really started my Journey yet, I went for my consultation. But I went in there Ashamed & Embarrassed of my smile.. but they made me feel Welcome & spoke to me as if Nothing was even Wrong with my mouth. I am very excited about going back to get started which will be in about a week. I am so glad I chose affordable!

I went in for consultation to decide on my options for some missing teeth, dentures, implants, etc. My problem probably isn't rare but likely uncommon. I am missing what I call my "peanut eating teeth". For every bottom tooth I have there is no corresponding top tooth and vice versa. There are things I can't eat, like peanuts, unless I nibble them like a squirrel. Other things are hard to eat without hurting my gums, and then others where, like reminding a child to chew their food, I have to remind myself to chew more thoroughly because of the time it takes. I have all my front teeth but one is a little loose from a face plant years ago and will inevitably be lost at some point especially considering my jaw clenching and teeth grinding resulting in my lower teeth pushing on my top teeth. That is the backstory to my appointment and review which I feel is necessary to understand the professionalism of care. I saw Dr. Marian Bryant. Being my first visit I had paperwork. I hate paperwork but that is standard practice. The receptionist was courteous and efficient. Wait time was minimal before an assistant called me back. She was also courteous and professional and after a brief discussion of my concerns I was taken back for a quick and complete X-ray. I wasn't even back in the room long enough to get comfortable before Dr. Bryant came in. She examined my X-rays and examined my teeth agreeing that the front tooth was a concern but definitely not something to pull without replacement/repair options first. I have known people that have gone to denture facilities with dentists that were anxious to pull all their teeth to sell them a set of dentures. Dr. Bryant isn't one of those dentists. She told me she doesn't like to pull good teeth attached to a good foundation and that, at that location, they only do dentures. Dollar signs didn't obstruct her view of the best interest of the patient, me. She chose the professional route of referring me to another location that has other options that may be better suited for me. Sometimes no treatment is the best treatment. This is one of those times. Thank you Dr. Bryant!

Haven't gotten the procedure yet but they all were very polite and very sweet. I felt no judgement. Can't wait for them to do the procedure!

Went in today for X-ray and exams. Was nervous and embarrassed but they comforted me and didn’t make me seem less than a human ❤️

I needed my new dentures tweaked just a little. They did a great job!
