My First Visit Experience

My first visit here today was very successful and pleasant overall. The front-end staff was absolutely amazing—friendly, welcoming, and genuinely happy. The wait was a little longer than expected due to some computer issues, but I completely understand that things happen. Overall, the front-end experience was excellent.

The back-end experience was just as great. Everyone was wonderful, with one exception that I would like to address: my interaction with the doctor, who I understand is the owner.

I explained to him that I deal with pretty severe anxiety. When I receive numbing medication, it can sometimes cause my heart to race and make me feel a little jittery. I wasn't asking to be referred to an oral surgeon or to be put to sleep. I simply asked whether someone could stay with me for a few minutes after the numbing medication is administered, just until those initial feelings pass.

I don't think that's an unreasonable request. Sometimes, a little reassurance goes a long way. Having someone nearby to say, "You're doing fine. Everything is going to be okay. Just relax," would make a tremendous difference for someone dealing with anxiety.

I was a little disappointed in the doctor's bedside manner during that conversation. To me, compassion, understanding, and reassurance are just as important as the dental work itself. I'm not asking for special treatment or anything that should inconvenience the staff. I'm simply asking for a little patience and human understanding during those first few minutes.

I was told that people would be coming in and out, but I was hoping someone could remain with me briefly until I felt comfortable.

That said, I want to emphasize that my overall experience was great, and I truly appreciate the staff. In particular, the lady assisting the doctor today went above and beyond. She was incredibly kind, pleasant, and accommodating, and I genuinely appreciate her.

I look forward to getting my dental work done. I hope the doctor does an excellent job, and I also hope we can find a way to make me feel comfortable and reassured during the process.

At the end of the day, a great dental experience isn't just about taking care of someone's teeth. It's also about how you make that person feel while they're sitting in your chair. A little compassion and good bedside manner can make all the difference. I dont feel that good with infection and also got eye surgery also coming us as soon as this month so alot on my plate and excited for the dental work here to be completed so i can smile and feel much better! Staff and doctors were very caring and professional. A great atmosphere.

I left my dentures in my operating room while having a procedure. I was scared I wouldn't smile again because I didn't have another 2k to get another set at Aspen. My financial situation is now such that I ONLY have Medicaid. I searched and found that Affordable Dentures took Medicaid. I assumed that I would have to jump through hoops for them to help me. I went in this Tuesday and received my new dentures Friday! I thank God 1st and then every team member in the office. I'm going to save my pennies to eventually get the bottom posts to secure my dentures and I'll let everyone know how that goes. Ty again to everyone at A.D.

I always have a good experience at this dental office, but today I had an exceptional experience with Paige! She has such a positive attitude and made this one of the best dentist visits i’ve had in a while!

OMG. The most friendly and professional staff you could ask for. No questions unanswered, constantly checking on me. Full extraction Upper and Lower made it feel like a walk in the park. . My personal opinion there is no place better to go. Thank you so much Katie and Jenna. And the rest of the staff as well.
