Dr. Ashley Pinkard is a highly experienced General Dentist with nearly 17 years of clinical practice spanning private practice, military service, and specialized care environments. She earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) from the prestigious University of Michigan School of Dentistry in 2009, following her Bachelor of Arts in Near Eastern Studies from the University of Michigan. Her strong academic foundation, combined with decades of hands-on experience, makes her a trusted and skilled provider for patients of all backgrounds and needs.

Dr. Pinkard’s career began with service in the United States Army, where she participated in an Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) residency through the Army’s Health Professions Scholarship Program. During her military tenure, she gained invaluable experience performing surgical extractions, molar endodontics, clinical crown lengthening, dental implant placement and restoration, and fixed and removable prosthodontics — including providing critical emergent dental care during deployment. This background instilled in her a commitment to precision, adaptability, and compassionate care under any circumstance.

Following her military service, Dr. Pinkard built an extensive career in both private practice and clinical leadership roles, where she honed her expertise across a broad range of general and surgical dentistry procedures. Her clinical skill set includes simple and complex extractions, restorations, root canals, crown and bridge work, periodontics, prosthetics, oral biopsies, and the diagnosis and management of oral lesions. She is proficient in four-handed dentistry and experienced in leading dental clinic operations, coordinating patient care, and mentoring dental staff.

Dr. Pinkard holds active dental licenses in both Georgia and Michigan and is an active member of the American Dental Association, the Georgia Dental Association, and the Southwestern District Dental Society. She maintains current certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS) and is DEA-authorized to prescribe controlled substances.
