Dr. Sal took an unconventional path to becoming a dentist. After earning his master's degree in molecular biology with a focus on cancer research from Southern Illinois University, he realized that he wanted to make a more immediate impact on patients' lives. This led him to explore various fields in medicine, ultimately discovering that dentistry aligned perfectly with his passion for direct patient care. Dr. Sal returned to the University of Illinois-Springfield to complete his dental school prerequisites before attending the University of Colorado School of Dental Medicine, where he earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. Following that, Dr. Sal completed a year of residency training in advanced education in general dentistry at NYU. It was during this time that Dr. Sal discovered his enthusiasm for providing affordable dentures and implants, where he can truly transform patients' lives for the better. Currently, Dr. Sal is an associate fellow of the American Academy of Implant Dentistry and an active member of the American Dental Association. Outside of his professional life, Dr. Sal is the proud parent of three children and enjoys snowboarding with his sons in the beautiful mountains of Colorado.
