Full Mouth Dental Implants

If you’re unhappy with the condition and appearance of the majority of your teeth, full mouth dental implants could be a great option to restore functionality — and your confidence. At Affordable Dentures & Implants, we have three cornerstone options for full mouth implants to serve a variety of needs and budgets. Read on to learn more about them.

What are Full Mouth Implants?

When most or all of your teeth are missing, broken, cracked, decaying, or otherwise compromised, a full set of tooth replacements may be recommended by your dentist to help prevent bone loss and restore your smile. This means all of your remaining natural teeth will be extracted, and both your top and bottom arches (the full row of teeth, from your front incisors to your back molars) will be replaced.

Choosing dental implants — which are secured with titanium fixtures inserted into your jaw bone — over traditional dentures can offer you increased stability and a more natural feeling when eating, speaking, and smiling.

Although it is possible to replace a single tooth with a single implant, you do not need to replace every tooth with an individual implant when in need of a full mouth solution.  Most often, it is possible and standard to replace an entire arch of teeth by using 2 to 6 implants depending on the tooth solution you choose.  This conservative approach reduces the amount of time, money and discomfort experienced.

Types of Full Mouth Dental Implants

At Affordable Dentures & Implants, we offer three main types of full mouth implant solutions, designed to restore smiles across needs and budgets.

SNAPSecure™ Removable Overdenture

SNAPSecure is our answer to snap-in dentures, which look much like traditional dentures. SNAPSecure is a solution most often used to provide a more stabile lower denture. Rather than needing adhesive to secure to your mouth, SNAPSecure uses round, button-like attachments which “snap” onto implants inserted into your jaw bone. This means more stability without the need for adhesive. SNAPSecure dentures will need to be removed each night and cleaned as you would traditional dentures. They most often don’t have a false palate (that covers the roof of your mouth) vs. conventional dentures that do; like many solutions SNAPSecure may require an adjustment period if you are not used to wearing a denture that is palateless.

FIXEDSecure™ Dental Implants

FIXEDSecure is a new alternative to dentures that provides you with non-removable implant-secured teeth at a lower price compared to the ALL-IN-ONE Solution’s conventional screw-retained teeth. FIXEDSecure uses similar type abutments as SNAPSecure; this means that, if you already have our SNAPSecure removable overdenture, you can easily upgrade to FIXEDSecure. The FIXEDSecure permanent bridge does not have a palate, which gives you even more freedom and comfort, in addition to additional security and durability.

ALL-IN-ONE Solution™

The ALL-IN-ONE Solution, commonly known as All-On-4TM, is made up of titanium screw-retained technology and a palateless, permanent bridge for an ultra-stable, super-secure, permanent solution. Extra-strong, titanium abutments are inserted into your jaw at certain angles via a surgical procedure, then the customized bridge is permanently secured via screws which insert into the abutments. Since the ALL-IN-ONE Solution only requires four screws for each half of the mouth, it has less downtime than other types of implants. And, because the abutments and screws are inserted at very specific angles, the ALL-IN-ONE Solution requires less jaw bone tissue than traditional implants, making it more accessible to more patients.

At Affordable Dentures & Implants, the ALL-IN-ONE Solution is our premier, same-day smile restoration offering. In just one day, we can install a brand-new top and bottom arch, custom made for your mouth — at a price you can afford.

Choosing the Right Full Mouth Dental Implants for You

Consider your needs carefully when deciding between full mouth dental implant solutions. You’ll want to know the particulars of your oral health condition and bone density, as those may influence the types of solutions you’ll have access to. You’ll also want to consider any personal preferences when it comes to performance or appearance. Additionally, you’ll need to have a good idea of your budget. While full mouth implants have incredible value over time, the up-front costs can be a barrier to many people. At Affordable Dentures & Implants, we’re committed to offering accessible solutions to everyone, and offer a variety of payment options (including insurance options) to help you find the right one for your needs.
