Our practice proudly provides Affordable Dentures® and related denture and tooth extraction services. We are located in Wilmington, NC and opened in February 1983. Each year, we treat more than 3,000 denture patients who travel from Wilmington, Jacksonville and many other communities in the surrounding area.
Walter J. Wulf, DDS is a general dentist and the practice owner of this Wilmington location. He graduated from University of North Carolina School of Dentistry. Based on many years of valuable dental experience, Dr. Wulf and his staff are proud to offer professional, compassionate care to patients that visit this practice.
Dr. Wulf’s dental center also has an on-site dental lab that fabricates new dentures and provides repairs and relines, often with same-day service. Being able to provide dentures in a day is a significant advantage, especially for patients who have traveled far distances. The on-site lab also eliminates the need to use outside commercial labs, therefore helping to keep costs low.
Our highly skilled lab technicians have crafted thousands of dentures. Their training and experience are assets to Dr. Wulf’s practice and give you the confidence that your denture is being fabricated locally in North Carolina.

Method of Payment
Payment for service is required in the morning after you see the dentist and a treatment plan is approved based on your clinical needs. This practice accepts: Cash, Check with valid ID, Mastercard, Visa, Discover.

If you have dental insurance through a carrier not accepted at this practice, an appropriate dental walk out statement will be provided so you can file your claim directly with your insurance carrier.

Affordable Dentures fees are so low, the total cost for the services you will receive at this location are likely less than the co-pay you will be required to pay at most other general dentistry practices. The practice staff can help you calculate the costs so you can make the best decision.

The following service time guidelines are followed by this practice. Please note that in most cases APPOINTMENTS ARE NOT REQUIRED. However, to receive same-day service, it will be necessary for you to register in the practice at opening time:
Dentures:
Impressions for Immediates - register between 7:30 am - 9:00 am
Impressions for Replacements - register between 7:30 am - 9:00 am
Same day for Economy, Custom and Premium dentures in most cases.
This office offers the Denture Stabilization System (mini dental implants) - please call the office for more information
Extractions:
Immediates - Register between 7:30 am - 9:00 am
Emergency - Register at 10:00 am or 2:00 pm
Other Services:
Consultation: Register at 9:00 am or 2:00 pm
Repair: Register before 9:00 am. We do not repair dentures not made
in this office or that are 1-2 years old.
This office will not add teeth to a partial not made in this office or that are 1-2 years old.
Reline: Register before 9:00 am. We do not reline dentures not made in this office or that are 1-2 years old.
Adjustments: Register between 2:00 pm -3:00 pm
