Experience into Success
To succeed as a denture waxer/finisher, experience counts – not only your own experience, but the laboratory's as well. Affordable Dentures Dental Laboratories (ADDL) is the nation’s largest removable prosthetic laboratory company. Ours is a laboratory-focused environment, where you'll work alongside highly skilled and experienced technicians and acquire the necessary skill set for a high-demand, growing field.
As a waxer/finisher, you'll work in an on-site laboratory at an Affordable Dentures practice, focusing on same-day removable prosthetics. You'll learn on the job through ADDL's excellent training and education program. You'll experience strong earning potential, even while training. And the skills you learn will set the stage for a rewarding and enduring career.
Practice with a Purpose
An Affordable Dentures practice offers a unique business model, but it is also a mission. You will work in a practice that is primarily oriented to serving low-income and elderly patients, with services focused on removable prosthetics, tooth extractions, and minimally invasive implants.
While total tooth loss is declining, there is a wide disparity among socio-economic groups. Lower-income individuals continue to suffer disproportionately. This patient population has been vastly underserved, largely because of the cost of treatment in traditional general dentistry practices. In addition, more than 45 million Americans currently wear some type of removable prosthesis, and recent studies have found that the average denture is over 15 years old. By offering a less expensive option, Affordable Dentures practices are reaching out to meet the needs of this deserving and appreciative patient population.
