How Affordable Dentures Started

The first affiliated dental practice opened in 1975 when the founding dentists, Dr. George L. Edwards, Jr., and Dr. Donald L. Henson, saw a growing need to provide dentures at an affordable fee.  At that time there were very few facilities offering dentures at economical fees, and people often had to travel great distances for service. To fill the needs of their community, the founding dentists opened the first affiliated dental practice in Kinston, North Carolina.

Same Day Dentures

The Founders also discovered how important it was to provide immediate dentures with same day service, especially to patients that had traveled great distances, or for those who were taking time off work to get services.  Same Day Service made the practices very unique.  Even to this day, every affiliated practice has its own same day denture lab to help improve the efficiency and the quality of the services the practices are able to provide.

Continuing to Grow

With the number of practices now over 150, and in over 35 States, the affiliated practices continue to benefit from the clinical and technical experiences they are able to share as a common network of dental caregivers.  Over 4 million patients have received services from the affiliated practices providing AFFORDABLE DENTURES^®.
